Topic: New Concepts & Best Practices in the Calibration of Climatic Chambers
Speaker:
Jun Bautista, Micro Quality Calibration, Inc.

Abstract:
This presentation will touch upon chamber calibration related topics with special emphasis on humidity chambers in terms of the most recent updates, proposed changes, recommended practices, and compliance to the mandates and conformance to established local and international standards and guidelines. Highlighted during this presentation will be the measurement uncertainties that may necessarily be considered when calibration climatic chambers. I will also be demonstrating the concept of 0% RH as a reference (not a measurement) point and the rationale behind its usage.

As a bonus, I will be exhibiting new design concepts in climatic chamber design and manufacturing that supports the measurement uncertainty elements in climatic chamber calibration.

Learning Objective:
How to manage them.

Topic: Coriolis and Ultrasonic Flowmeter Technology
Speaker:
 Thomas Kegel, Colorado Engineering Experiment

Abstract:
Engineers today face more flowmeter selection options than in the past. Older technologies (turbine, differential producers, electromagnetic) continue in service and incremental improvements in the technology appear in the market. This presentation will present the newest technologies: the ultrasonic and Coriolis. The topics include design, operation, applications, and installation. Also discussed will be unique diagnostic features that can provide insight into measurement integrity and aid in troubleshooting

Learning Objective:
Applications

Topic: Analytical Forensic Metrology
Speaker:
Jerry Messman, Stranaska Scientific LLC

Learning Objective:
Applications and implications

Topic: ISO/IEC 17025:2017, Myths and Facts
