Meeting Speakers:

Topic:  Coriolis and Ultrasonic Flowmeter Technology

Speaker:  Tom Kegel, Colorado Engineering Experiment Station (CEESI)
Abstract: Engineers today face more flowmeter selection options than in the past. Older technologies (turbine, differential producers, electromagnetic) continue in service and incremental improvements in the technology appear in the market. This presentation will present the newest technologies: the ultrasonic and Coriolis. The topics include design, operation, applications, and installation. Also discussed will be unique diagnostic features that can provide insight into measurement integrity and aid in troubleshooting.

Topic: The measuring process when measuring to millionths
Speaker:
George Schuetz, Mahr, Inc.
Abstract:  Of course this would be a dimensional topic - but parts of it could relate to other areas such as temperature, mass  measurement etc. It would a practical presentation covering the individual parts of the measuring process, the importance of each and how each may contribute to the end result. From this we will come up with an easy way of remembering the parts for future use. Finally we will take a closer of how millionth measurements make each one of these parts of the process more critical.

Topic: Industrial and Field Pressure Calibration and Measurement
Speaker:  Chris Christofferson,  Additel, Inc.

Topic: History and Purpose of the Denso Maryville Facility”& “Video Tour of the Denso Calibration Laboratory
Speaker: TBD, Denso Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc.
