Past Meetings and Events

Canada Region Meeting, Wednesday & Thursday September 28 & 29, 2016
The NCSL International Canadian Region held their annual meeting September 28 and 29, 2016. The meeting was held on Canada’s beautiful east coast in Halifax, Nova Scotia with the National Research Council (NRC) hosting the meeting at their Oxford location. NRC’s location, with its spacious presentation theatre, provided an excellent venue for everyone in attendance. Keeping up with Canada’s east coast hospitality, a meet and greet was held the evening before at the The Delta Halifax Hotel. This turned out to be a great social event and networking opportunity for all in attendance.

Canada Region Meeting, Wednesday & Thursday October 1 & 2, 2014
The NCSL International Canadian meeting was held on October 1st and 2nd in Montreal, Quebec and was another resounding success. For the second time in the past six years, Hydro-Quebec hosted the event, providing us with a first rate auditorium for the presentations and plenaries, a break out space for the exhibitors and a most convenient in-house cafeteria.

Eastern Canada Region Meeting, June 2014
The NCSLI Eastern Canada Region held an early summer meeting on June 26, 2014. This was a milestone of sorts, since the last meeting held in Halifax, Nova Scotia was our Fall Canadian Conference, which was held back in 1995. The Canadian Fall Conferences are typically held each year in the Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto triangle; however, the emphasis on more local sectional meetings is also encouraged by our executive.
