Committee Charter
The primary objectives of the 144 TEAM committee are to facilitate value added, focused discussion among NCSLI member organizations and create guidelines and informational materials pertaining to Test Equipment Asset Management (TEAM). These objectives include the creation and support of topical working groups, development of strategies and tactics intended to guide users in test equipment asset management, and prioritization of work projects. In an effort to represent TEAM and end user needs and experiences plus the manufacturer’s recommendations and experiences, the 144 committee will seek to establish a balance among stakeholders"
2013 - 2014 Goals
  1. Revise TEAM Charter to include specific actions and responsibilities;
  2. Establish & Conduct Regular TEAM Telecom/ Webex meetings addressing issues related to the TEAM, minimum monthly;
  3. Create Committee “Newsletter” to document events, actions and events relating to TEAM activities; Minimum two releases per year;
  4. Open and initialize forum on Committee web page, have key committee members set “notices” so they are notified when new inquiries are made with system for TEAM responses. Initially submit thought provoking questions for response by interested parties;
  5. Research, prepare and submit for editing a new publication: Recommended Practice for “The Packaging, Handling and Shipment of Test Equipment and Standards”; and
  6. Research, prepare and submit for editing a new publication: Recommended Practice for “The Delay Dating of Test Instrumentation”.
