How do you measure up in your industry?

"
Based on what I do I would say that measurement science is everything.

My association with NCSLI has definitely improved my ability to
support our Standards Labs based on the training received through
each annual NCSLI Workshop & Symposium, and also based on the
wealth of knowledge tapped throughout the year by networking with
 other NCSLI members and volunteers."

How does measurement science

apply to my industry?

Measurement science is the essence of our existence at the primary-level laboratory where I work. Advancements made in technology require corresponding improvements in our measurement methods and procedures. NCSLI has been invaluable with keeping abreast of advancements in technology and corresponding measurement techniques. Active participation provided at the annual NCSLI Workshop & Symposium through tutorials, technical sessions and committees has been worth far more than the cost of admission. It is a great community of knowledgeable metrologists and a tremendous resource for learning and networking. Where else can you meet and talk with scientists, engineers, and technicians representing equipment manufacturers, NMIs, government laboratories and other countries?
