Speakers’ Name: Mr. Dilip Shah, E=MC3 Solutions
Topic: Specifying, Analyzing, and Interpreting ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Services - Mr. Dilip Shah, E=MC3 Solutions
Abstract: When a customer
receives a calibration certificate from an accredited laboratory, do they know
what services and information they received? Before contracting for calibration
service, certain requirements specified by the customer will save them a lot of
headaches later. Knowing what to review on a calibration certificate after receiving the calibrated item will protect the
customer's interest and avoid future surprises.
Learning Objectives: This presentation will guide you through the
process of procuring calibration services and the steps required to ensure that
the customer received what was originally requested.
Meeting Overview: This meeting will focus on better interactions between the metrology and testing communities. The intent is to improve these interactions and try to bridge the gap between the owners of test and measurement equipment making the measurements and the calibration providers calibrating the test and measurement equipment.
