Meeting Overview
We will use actual primary standards and various force calibration equipment including different types of standards. Participants are encouraged to bring force calibration from their own facility for testing. Morehouse will also try to physically test any equipment brought to the session.
Potential participants should already have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of force calibration. General force calibration information will be provided to the participants via email prior to the training event. This class is focused towards advanced force calibration and will cover topics related to uncertainty, reducing errors from improper setups, and troubleshooting. The onsite training will not cover the basic concepts of force calibration in depth. Ideal attendees are calibration technicians with at least a year of experience with force calibration who are looking to improve their force calibration procedures and measurement techniques.
