NCSLI Acronym & Abbreviation/ Glossary Search

The NCSL Acronym & Abbreviation/ Glossary Lists are compliations of commonly used acronyms/terms and their various definitions collated by the acronym/term and the definition. These acronyms/terms and definitions are intended to fulfill the requirement for universal NCSL Acronym Comliance and universal NCSL Glossary Compliance in publications and documents related to the global measurement industry.

Rapidly changing elements of the global measurement industry, coupled with the need for clear communication on a global basis, will mandate frequent revisions to the NCSL Acronym/Glossary Lists in order to stay current. The Acronym and Glossary List efforts were coordinated by the NCSL Vice President for Publications, accomplished by the Glossary Committee, and approved for publication by the NCSL Board of Directors in April 1999.
