According to its charter, the NCSL Education System Liaison Committee
is responsible "to interact with NIST and educational institutions,
participating in the development of metrology curriculums for full-time
training programs and the development of training materials and courses,
and represents the needs of the NCSL International Membership to these organizations."
The Committee is continuing the process of establishing a network of
Members from each Region to work directly with the educators in their
respective areas. The main thrust is to identify, evaluate and promote
metrology courses. Currently, a project is underway to search the
internet for metrology education and training resources. NCSL International Members
wishing to join in this process or in need of further information, please
contact the NCSLI Business Office (303) 440-3339.
